- Translucent polymer clay, optional
- Clay blade and roller
- Texture tools or real pebbles for reference
- Acrylic paint or pigments for surface variation
- Needle tool for bead holes
- Wet/dry sandpaper
- Ceramic tile or baking surface
- Polymer clay oven and thermometer
Technique overview
Blend restrained natural colors, shape irregular stones, and add subtle texture and color variation instead of perfect symmetry. Pierce pieces intended as beads, cure them, then sand or finish selectively so the surfaces retain a convincingly weathered appearance.
